Frame Seven was founded on a simple idea. That great visualisation should not only look impressive, but feel believable.

Before moving into CGI, I spent over 7 years running a bespoke joinery and cabinet-making business, designing and building custom pieces for clients. That career taught me a deep understanding of materials, proportions, and how things are actually constructed.

As part of that work, I regularly created 3D visuals to help clients understand designs before they were built. Those visuals often played a key role in winning projects and communicating ideas clearly.

In 2022, following several years of personal challenges, I made the difficult decision to step away from my business. Shortly afterwards, whilst temporarily working in a different industry, I sustained a wrist injury that made it impossible to continue with physical, hands-on work long-term.

Rather than stepping away from the industry entirely, I committed fully to high-end CGI and 3D visualisation — building on the design and creative side of the work I had always enjoyed most. I went all in on retraining, teaching myself industry-standard tools including Blender, Unreal Engine, and Adobe, and dedicating myself to developing photorealistic imagery.

My background includes working from technical drawings, interpreting plans, and producing accurate designs for manufacture, including CNC-based work. That experience carries through into every project — allowing me to translate concepts into visuals that are not only visually strong, but technically informed and grounded.

Frame Seven has been built on that commitment: combining self-taught technical expertise with real-world construction knowledge to produce visuals that are striking, believable, and built on genuine understanding of how things are made.
